the_o2 , Jan 29, 2022 : That's just a typo made by them, no one can change hardware through the software updates. And for the issues you facing please report it to feedback section ( red + icon in the community app).
Tobikage , Jan 29, 2022 : They will just change it back to 888. But do you think your phone will be the same....faster again after the next update ?
Indranil Paul , via OnePlus 9 Pro , Jan 29, 2022 : I really dont know what oneplus people are doing Why the disregard oxygen OS i really dont know Oneplus is no way a grate flagship I think we should not buy it any more

Tobikage , Jan 29, 2022 : They might as well name ot an 835 or a 999. Doesn't make a difference. What sucks is OnePlus clearly doesn't test what they are sending out to people.
pablofg1978 , Jan 29, 2022 : Hello there, Please use the search before creating a new thread, there are similar threads already open and answered. This is a known bug that was reported many times already. You can use the feedback section on the community app to submit it directly to oneplus. Also, a software update cannot modify the hardware.
