Ridhav Aggarwal , via OnePlus 7T , Apr 1, 2020 : I recently tried to uninstall Netflix from my device but there was no option available thru which I could do so. Only DISABLE option is available. Why is it so ??? There are reports about it on Reddit, but all are assumptions. please someone provide a definitive answer to this issue. Why did Oneplus did this, and made Netflix a non-uninstallable app on the devices?
B_Wrath , Apr 1, 2020 : Because Netflix is a system app in 7 and above. OnePlus tied up with Netflix.

逍遥晓语 , May 22, 2020 : you can click the upper right corner button and click "disable". the app will be still in your phone but it won't show up in your home screen and won't be updated any more until you enable it again.
Richard Lalbuatsaiha , May 22, 2020 : Yeah not only netflix, other Google apps like Google duo, gmail Google play music etc cannot be uninstalled, ṭhe ui is not that clean. Also system eats a lot of memory, i come from i phone xr 128 gb, in xr stotage available for user is around 115 gb.
tide1109 , via OnePlus 7T , May 22, 2020 : I read the reason on an AMA by OnePlus. They preinstalled Netflix as system app for a more burdenless experience. I thought it was the OP8 Series AMA, but it wasn't. The 7T Series AMA isn't it either. I don't know which AMA it is. A system app can only be disabled. System apps can't be uninstalled by the user.
OALEXANDER , May 22, 2020 : OnePlus is tied up with Netflix. You can only Uninstall the update from playstore and can't remove the app. Hope with the above quote by community members also answers your question. Closing Thread
