    Closed beta is still happening and the open beta will come at the end of this month.
    First OTA early 2018 (time line given yesterday by Carl at the release party)

    What would you rather have: a non tested OS with loads of bugs or a fully tested OS with a minimum of bugs?

    Not true.
    If I remember well it was somewhere is August that Google released it too the public (other phone companies). From that date on companies were able to test and build their own roms
