Before using OP 2 i would have said quick charge.
    But not now.

The reversible Type C kind off spoiled me.:p

im ok with usb-c. my phone last me all day so no need for quick charge. however would have been nice if the added it to the opt.

You do realize that there is absolutely NOTHING that would have stopped OP from implementing USB Type-C AND quick charge?

The problem is when I travel to some place I have to make sure I carry the cable with me, not the case with micro-USB.

    This gives users unnecessary anxiety.

USB-C maybe a thing for the future, but we live in the present and in the present we can hardly find an extra USB-C cable, say for example I am going to my friends home and I want to recharge, not possible because I don't have a USB-C cable.

One more thing, USB-C is not on its full glory in OPT, it lacks quick charging + USB 3.1 speed.
Its just a USB 2.0 with a USB-C physical shape.

    Definitely quick charging.

And considering the USB-C isn't actually USB-C, it's just USB2.0 with USB-C type connector. So no advantages from USB-C, since it isn't it.

They messed up with the type c connecter, no usb3 or fast charge makes it pointless.

Mine charged from zero to 100% in a little over 2 hours today, which I thought was pretty good. I also got the adapter, which is tiny and fits nicely in a wallet/purse, so no issues about having to remember to take the cable either as it makes any micro USB cable usable. Although I have always taken a cable when I've been staying overnight anywhere anyway - I don't assume friends will have spares to lend out.

It's no longer true that charging overnight overcharges the battery. Smartphone batteries are also pretty smart. ;) You can also do partial charges without using up a whole charge cycle - say you plug in at 90% and charge to 100%, you'll only use 1/10th of a charge cycle.

Quick charge is where it's at. If they really wanted to be so cutting edge w usb type c they should have at lesser included wireless charging. Having both on a spec sheet wouldn't have caused such an uproar by the techies. C only was a mistake for sure.

I don't care much for turbo cause I'm never use the entire battery by the end of the day so I just charge over night. USB C on the other hand is nice but all it really does is prevents annoyances being 2 sided and all.
