Just passing it on, I had to reference a good amount of stuff to get 44s and get my phone rerooted after I screwed it up haha

That's all I'm saying. But I wouldn't mind having a bit of icing on that cake (i.e. feeling secure in the OTA) with a side of ice cream (i.e. actually having no issues installing the OTA) and potato chips (i.e. no post OTA issues) to seal the deal. ;)

If it helps, everything is buttery smooth on 44s for me. Only issue was when I messed up my root access, but that was my own doing, not CM.

Since you mentioned that you use TWRP here's what you have to do to manually flash 44s. Can't really answer the other questions because I have no clue what's going on with your failed update.

    1) Download that zip file to your phone. That is the file needed for the 44s update.
    2) Turn off the phone, then boot into recovery by holding power + down volume
    3) Install the file you downloaded from the link I gave you.
    4) reboot

By nothing I mean after reboot I still have the phone exactly like it was with 38r. no problems just no 44 update. so please answer the previous question. Where did the file go?

I told you that I don't know what happened with your failed update or where the file went. However, if you download the zip file through the link I gave you then it'll probably be in your Download folder.

Wifi probably needs to be reconfigured after a system install. Readd your AP SSID. and password.
