When CM12s and Oxygen both get released, then all you guys are gonna do is start the bitching and whinning threads. Lol pathetic, absolutely pathetic. Get a life, join a sport or have a baby or something. Anything to pull you away from your precious phones for a while.

I have no idea what he is on about being more dangerous, but yeah I think the Cm12 nightlies are more 'stable' than the 11s builds. Never had to do a reboot to fix an issue on Cm12, I have on 11s though.

Can't believe this thread is still going on with that crap about the OPO being a "spiritual successor" to the Nexus range. No wait, I just remembered where I am, I CAN believe it.

Dangerous as in risky. A typical OPO user doesn't randomly flash new ROMs; they usually stick with CM - as the CM data collection logs show (yes, CM collects data by default on you poor privacy conscious users). The percentage of us who actually flash (nightly) ROMs is quite low compared to the traditional OPO user. Going on a whim and making an educated guess, I'd say less than 15% of all OPO users.

Dangerous? Yes, you could break your /system and the normal person wouldn't know how to fix that without additional help. They would then go "oh shit, my OPO is broke" and try to RMA it under warranty. Heck I've broken my hboot partition in the past, and managed to fix that with a JTAG - I don't know how many users would be able to do that.

Obviously on the newer phones, hboot is much more secure and idiotproof, so even if they break their recovery, they still have fastboot.

15% where does that percentage come from?

Honestly my opinion on this whole lollipop situation is simple. You can either do something about it and flash cm12, Blisspop etc. If you don't know how learn. Another option just buy a phone already updated to lollipop. Honestly I've been on lollipop for a while its okay, its not mind blowing. Biggest difference is maybe notifications.
