This is complete bullshit. Oxygen OS fixed the flash issue, yet Cyanogen hasn't been able to fix this issue in 8 months.

Well I wiped calendar, calendar storage, contacts, and contacts storage data and I still get it. Dialer app doesn't work either.

I know. Yesterday I was on CM12 nightlies, but i'm going to return back.
CM12s have more bugs than CM12 nightlies... And when there is any bug, it's solved quickly in the nightlies.

Well I'm wiping cache (again), been googling and one person uninstalled facebook and it worked. So I guess I will try that and try gmail.

I enabled the open music player when headphones are plugged in option under sound which resulted in my phone rebooting every time I plug in headphones/audio cable.

    Just tried it now......

went from 05Q, used fastboot to flash to cm12s, it took out twrp recovery, i'm guessing as i did it the fastboot way that's to be expected, so probably a non issue just wanted a complete clean flash to minimize any bugs due to old o.s.

wi-fi 5GHz networks aren't being detected, apart from that it seemed pretty nice

also trying to re-flash twrp once your on cm12 recovery wouldn't work even on using erase and flash commands

anyway, went back to 05Q, re-flashed twrp then restored my backup, this worked

I used to be able to go under Developer Settings to install unknown sources but I don't see that option. I suppose I can do it with root explorer. Also, changing the icons from large to small on the home screen doesn't seem to work for me - still huge.

Flashed from stock 05Q using CM recovery. Didn't wipe data or anything, simply upgrade zip file and reboot.

Rebooted and baseband was unknown. Had a whole lot of complaints about google play services etc. (which is understandable when moving to lollipop)

Had a notification pop up to upgrade CM recovery, popped into developer options and ticked the box to use CM recovery.

Rebooted into recovery (now it was updated) and went through the flash process again.

Reboot and it didn't pick up reception straight away, took about 30 seconds, phone was left alone and it automagically connected to google and updated all the apps etc. around 2mins later the phone was back to normal.

I've rebooted the phone several times now to try to recreate the issue, it's definitely gone away.

Here are two I found: status bar Auto Rotate has the portrait icon on startup(with a lock), changing users crashes CM Logger, you have to reboot.

I have the same issue @slash28cu . i installed the new messenger app and there's no more "Messaging has stopped working" but everytime i restart the phone, the "Android is upgrading" message still persists.
