Will this update bring back the lock screen dimmer, lock screen long button hold option as I found them to be very useful. The lock screen long button hold allowed me to hold down my home button to switch it to vibrate mode rather than how I have to fidget with the volume button now to make it into silent mode. The lock screen dimmer was also useful since I did not need to drop down the notification bar to change the brightness.

I have tried looking for these options in Settings but to no success...

Just updated mine via OTA, no problems :) No manual flash or anything like that. Just have to flash xposed and re-root :)

    Have TWRP(2.8.6.0), Rooted.
Downloaded the latest file, but it has "fastboot" at the end of the update file name, can I flash the file using TWRP? (Im thinking not!)

the OTA update size is 598.4 MB... but the zip file given in the links is just 571 MB... is there any reason for the difference? pls clarify

I think it's probably leftover/holdover code from the open source since they share a similar base. Mine does the same thing -- you can see it in search, but the option doesn't exist in the actual development options. In CM11s, there was a script that would "unlock" the option, but honestly, it's much easier just to flash SuperSU and be done with it.
