CM13 bugs and annoyances

Same for me! 0 reboots so far!

Well bikas... it seems that my propaganda, confusion, lack of care/weight and etc had some reason no?

Its the first build in a long time that has ZERO random reboots!

Edit: You are a bit exalted and treat me like a noob, I am only trying to help others here that are confused with this old "fix" and workarounds... Me as these other people are angry of trying so many things and not finding a solution.

Just relax man! Sorry if I irritated someone here!

Hi xeind, I am afraid of installing the today build and break the stability... saw some more stuff changing for the bacon in the change logs.

Let me know how it is running...

22 hours since the restart from last night's nightly.

    Most stable nightly thus far.

What about restoring and backup on Google? I can't update since they solve this really annoying issue

Full device encryption does not work on CM13.
Also TWRP has issues with flashing with CM13, you might get the same problems when updating using TWRP. (or you will need to use a TWRP fork for updating)

If you downloaded the app, then it may ne corrupted or incomplete. Download it again and check the file size

The same thing happened in another app I'm using. The weird thing is that the front facing camera works fine in the camera app.

This is because of camera api issue with CM. I've already posted a suggestion on how it didn't affect WhatsApp qr scanner. It is possible that even when what you see is garbled, the final result is correct.

Same for me. 0 reboots since I updated on Wed. I guess there might have been more than 1 issue causing the reboots which got fixed in a recent update.

Weird to read about all these reboot problems. Been using the nightlies for weeks and never had a reboot.

January 17th nightly, following things don't seem to work for me (still):

-No synchronization with Gmail (notifications don't get pushed anymore, have to refresh manually through the app in order to check for new mails)

-sadly still no proper GPS fix

Latest nightly 0119 might have broken what they fixed.

Just had my first reboot in almost a week.

I had the same issue for Inbox, and this is caused by Doze. You need to disable the battery optimization for the app (battery menu, 3 dots, optimization).
