    im using color os 12 open beta 1 for 2 days now .... so far its really well optimised for regular usage but there are a few things international users might want to know before they flash it
    so here are some points. 1 & 2 are the most important ones i hope it helps y'all .

    1. if you install it you can not rollback normally using an official rom zip file so be sure to know what you are doing. because you cant go back
    2. google services work fine ... as in playstore youtube and everything but PAYMENT DOESNT WORK && GOOGLE BACKUP DOESNT WORK .
    3. YOU WON'T GET OTA UPDATES FROM THIS OPEN BETA (YET)
    4. there are some bugs here and there but they are not a deal breaker ....

    other then these the rom is quite polished unlike OxygenOS 11 , battery life is waaaay better then OxygenOS 11 , phone feels more fluid overall . I really wish we get coloros12 as official rom for oneplus devices for oneplus 8 instead of the mess what OxygenOS 12 is .

    they are similer i installed this becuz it was coming late for oneplus 8 .... but overall coloros12 is a lot smoother and has way better battery life then OxygenOS 11 .... so im gonna stick with it 😁

    I regretted installing this BETA. The performance and battery life has improved, yet I am not used to the followig changes:
    .Developer Option is disable automatically when restarting the phone.

    .The font size and screen display is not pleasing regardless of my setting. Some apps look like it used to, but it's a mess to other apps.

    Other negative observations include:
    .Not optimized camera. The wide angle video is blurry, while the camera automatically smoothen faces agressively once its detected and changed to portrait icon
    .Nearby share is gone
    .Messaging and online apps such as messenger, viber, outlook, and yahoo mail do not load and notify for messages from background even if I removed their battery optimization.

    I wish I could revert to normal Androd 11 build, but after countless tries it was unsuccessful 😅

    Anyways, if ever you find a rollback file, pls. give your feedback here.

    hey there i also faced the same issue as you .... and i reverted back to OxygenOS 11

    just download the rollback file for open beta to stable version for oxygenos11 ( provided by oneplus during oos 11 open beta closure ) and install it from local update app it works fine ....

    Hello. I keep getting verification failed everytime I update via local upgrade. What could be wrong?

    there's a separate local upgrade apk for coloros 12 you need to use that one ..... system default one doesn't work .... also any other zip file other then the downgrade file provided by oneplus doesn't work

    if this method doesn't work at all you can also use MSM tool to get back to oxygenos11 there are plenty of tutorials online ... and its pretty safe " IF " you follow ALL THE STEPS correctly

    I got it now. It was on zip file and I needed to remove the .zip.

    Thanks a lot for your help. I'll finally escape this beta version like what happened on Sword Art Online hahaha.
