    I purchased OnePlus node phone and buds few days back , have a problem with the OnePlus buds microphone. People not able to hear me. Pls assist. Other functions are fine.

    Tried reaching out to customer care, raised service request for support but no response. Need some help on this pls.

    Is the mic not working with any of the apps you use ? Whatsapp, windows maybe.

    tried with normal phone calls and what's app calls. people say they can't hear me, I'm not audioble...so I switch my call from buds to phone or speaker, then it's good.

    I just got my Oneplus buds a couple of days back. I used them on my Oneplus 6 (with the new update) and found them to be comfortable and for me they never run out of charge. I have enabled the auto firmware update and since I have been using them for 2 days I think that they would have been updated automatically by now.

    Now with the problem, yesterday I connected them with my laptop (Lenovo Ideapad 300) for the first time and watched videos on youtube (Chrome, updated). While watching news channels or tech reviews (at least the ones I played) there was a sudden loss of audio in the buds (both at the same time). This did not happen once during the video but occurred at random maybe once every 10-15 sec. I don't think it is due to video quality or specific section of the video, as when I replay the part where the buds skipped the audio I can hear the audio this time. Also, I don't think this is due to video buffering.

    Initially, I thought it might be due to the mode I am playing on the laptop (stereo/hands-free audio). But this happened in both modes. I am not facing this issue on zoom and skype calls on the laptop.

    The buds are at 100% charge and very near to the laptop (2-3 feet). I don't think I am in an environment where there is high EM wave concentration, my microwave oven is like two rooms away (and is generally off) so there should not be this problem.

    Things I tried:
    Factory resetting the buds.
    Pairing the buds with only my laptop
    Disconnecting all other bt devices from the laptop.

    Maybe it is only with my device and others are not facing this issue, I thought of sharing this issue for maybe if someone else also has it.

    It gets disconnected all of sudden and reconnects.
    Also if i use a left bud battery is showing 0% and after putting it in the case suddenly showing 100%.

    Same is going on with me. Left bud is in my ear with 100% charge & right is in the case still it is showing 0% battery.
    If i disconnect and reconnect the buds right bud is back to 100%

    So this is what I have observed after reading similar problem of samsung wireless buds on web. The buds do charge with case open. Not sure if this is the intended way though. Hopefully should be resolved by software patch.

    I just received mine couple days ago... No connection issues so far. That's including testing with PC, TV, NVIDIA SHIELD, and 8 Pro. Great job OnePlus! @Carl
