is it important to have your device rooted to download the latest OP3t beta version?.And also once downloaded does that mean you don't get any future updates automatically?

Great thread. Already test some of the 'call' codes. Really to check and check if everything is working on your phone.

Earlier this feature worked pretty nicely. After 4.1.1 it will not pass the "enter pin" screen until you punch in the pin. This is good and bad both. As security has definitely increased but then user experience has decreased. And until you pass that screen even network also will not start.

I used to use this feature for night switch off and morning switch on. But had to stop using this coz of no network auto on.

I still use it, even with the need to input the lock code after boot since the phone works before that, it receives calls and messages and everything else, it just asks you to unlock it before you can actually use it

Technically yes. Practically, you will have to punch in your pin for it to get start. If you are on OOS lower than 4.1.1 then your phone will not take a halt on the enter pin screen and start automatically. Making auto switch off / switch on more smooth.

When I try to call on my phone before passing the enter pin screen, it says phone not reachable etc. After I enter the pin and call, phone becomes reachable.
So possibly the network starts after you pass through that screen.
