Concept : Diztonic TPU Bumper! for Bamboo StyleSwap Aug 27, 2015

    Hey Guys!

    So I'm one of the OnePlus Bamboo StyleSwap lover, but I'm also concerned about the safety of my OPO cause I don't want to put a cover and loose the look and feel of the bamboo. I've a Diztronic TPU Grey case which I bought long back before buying Bamboo. so this is what my brain thought could bring solution to my problem. As of now it is just a concept but I'm thinking to cut the TPU case to make a bumper out of it . take a look and say if I should go ahead with this idea or not !!

    @BrettPlusOne : Thanks for correcting me :) Hey Brett could you please take a look on the OP and let me know what you think about the idea, should I cut the Diztronic TPU case to make bumper or I shouldn't ? I've ordered Oneplus Clear Case to give it a shot if that fits my Bamboo OPO. ( there are few who say it fits)

    It might work, but it might not. The case wasn't designed to be a bumper so the phone might fall out easily.

    It's actually quite a good idea!
    If you go ahead and make a mix of those 2, don't forget to take some pictures while doing it.
    That way you could make a GUIDE for those ones that want to make one themselves.

    Thanks for the advice, that helps me to take another look at this.... I'll to take chances on this then :) so I'll wait for the clear case to arrive then will give it a shot. Thanks for your input!

    I'll for sure do it ! but before going ahead playing with my 1000 bucks I'll wait for the clear case and see if that fits :) else I'm gonna use Diztronic and mod it to a Bumper ;) I have to take my chances with it :D

    Thanks for your input but I'm now done putting money into One. Have already put a lot in accessories and moreover my Diztronic TPU case is just not in use cause I'm not using it with bamboo to showoff ;) :D

    u cud buy a bumper instead I heard cheap aluminium bumper do work with bamboo style swap.

    I thought of those but unfortunately there are few users who reported Aluminium bumpers put scratches on OPO body and doesn't provide shock resistance/absorption, and I personally feel they look crappy :confused:

    I've not yet decided to go for it, I'll check all the available options before playing with Diztronics :)

    I'll love to see if anyone who has a comparatively cheaper case could try it for me with his/her Bamboo OPO :D (now I'm being greedy LOL ! )

    Its actually a pretty tough case, in small drops it does not even scratch.
