Honestly its hard to see, but when you see it, you see it. Like the video above I don't really notice it until the very end of the video, around 1:25.

If you don't see it and it doesn't bother you, enjoy the phone for what it is :)

I'm not going to lie, I don't own a 5 but I've seen a handful of videos. Its seems to show the effect more with images, like they are being stretched and snap up/down to catch up.

Anyway, like I said above if it doesn't bother you enjoy the phone for what it is.

what I've noticed more is a rainbow effect when tilting the screen, mostly on whites. my old phone was a Nexus 5 and never saw it. I've read this color change when tilting the phone is normal among AMOLED displays however I've also seen comments it could be the pre-applied screen protector. I'm waiting for a new screen protector before I take mine off.

I think it is the screen protector.

    thanks for the reply.

guess I will find out next week unless I come across any other OnePlus 5 users that have noticed this and taken their pre-applied protector off.

I did notice a rainbow effect on mine but I took the protector off yesterday and didn't notice it anymore. So I'm pretty sure it's the protector. At least in my case.

Folks I did some strange experiment on my own.
After getting sick of the jelo I decided to do some tweaks. Strangely it improved my viewing greatly.

I increased the delay of touch from the setting in accessiblity.

It really reduced the jelly effect. I think if company can just tweak it ,the inertia it might just fix it.

Friends try and inform me of the results.

I want to turn my OP5 upside down to see of there is a different, but the dislayed screen is not turning. It is turning only 90 degree left and right. Is there any settings To-Do?

Not possible to fix it. Hardware problem. Return your phone. I'm doing it as well.

Hardware problem on all OP5 devices. I just compared mine with a friend's OP5, who claimed that he does not have jelly. But I clearly could see it. So he just does not notice it.
