    Just to get the picture a bit clearer: you disabled the app 'contacts' by mistake and can't open and/of find it anymore in the app drawer. Is this the case?

    Is the contacts app stil visible in Settings? Setting - Apps and notification - View all 1xx apps - (find) contacts (if possible) - select Enable (if possible).
