Contacts photo not clear via OnePlus 7T Pro

I just got OnePlus 7t pro. No matter how much clearer photos I set for a contact, it always gets blurry. I think there is some problem in it's algorithm. Can anyone guide a fix!
It's not such big an issue but it's an issue!

Maybe is because the contact app compresses the contact image.
You can use the feedback page to submit your issue directly to OnePlus

I found a work around for this, I thought I was the only one having this issue xD

As simple as it is, download Google Contacts from playstore, and open the contact in Google Contacts app, let the image download.

once it's done, check the same contact in OnePlus Contacts app, it must be fixed and not blurry by now

Do this for every contact having blurred image.

Even Google contacts show blurred contact photos, but I can see perfectly sharp pictures on my old Oneplus which has its contacts synced to Google. I transferred contacts using Oneplus switch though, could that be the issue?

I think that might be it, I also transferred the data via switch but the fix I mentioned worked.

Make sure you stop syncing up the contacts from new phone by Google, then delete all of them, backup the contacts from previous phone (one having the sharp contact images) and then finally turning the sync on for new device. I did the same and it worked.

    Hope that helps

Use the Google contacts app from the playstore... And try refreshing the photos in Google contacts. It will refresh the default contact app pics... This Worked for me
