OnePlus 8 series is all set to launch next week. But just days before the official launch, OnePlus CEO Pete Lau has released a teaser image showing the back of one of the upcoming phones. The teaser image also reveals a green colour option that will be available for either OnePlus 8 or OnePlus 8 Pro, or both. This is the first time OnePlus will offer a green colour variant. The company's last-generation OnePlus 7T is offered in Frosted Silver and Glacier Blue colours, whereas OnePlus 7T Pro comes in just the Haze Blue colour.

The teaser giving a sneak peek at the OnePlus 8 series has been posted by Pete Lau on Weibo. It shows the back of the a OnePlus 8-series phone along with a frosted glass finish in the distinctly green colour finish. Furthermore, you can clearly see OnePlus' branding at the bottom.

Thank You So Much @Crystal Z. for this unique kind of contest. There are many different things floating around the internet about the #OnePlus8Series wherein some is Real and some Fake.

So, in this picture there are 2 things which I thing are Fake or Wrong and rest others are Real.
So, firstly the RAM type. Here it is actually the opposite of what is mentioned wherein the 8 will have an LPDDR4X RAM and 8 Pro will have an LPDDR5 RAM.

Secondly, the Price seems a bit low as per my liking based on what is going around in the world at the moment and global economies are falling, so costs are increasing and also due to the advent of 5G, there are many other things which are to be done which inturn increases costs. Snapdragon 865 is also pretty expensive compared to previous Snapdragon platforms and we are for the first time seeing new things being implemented in OnePlus 8 Series specifically the Pro like Wireless Charging, 120Hz Display, IP Rating, Quad Camera, LPDDR5 RAM and so on and so these inturn increases costs and adds up to the overall Price.

Ya, so that's my take on Real or Fake. Thanks once again @Crystal Z. and can't wait to #LeadWithSpeed with the #OnePlus8Series

OnePlus 8, 8 Pro full specs and pricing leak ahead of April 14 unveiling

    08 April 2020

Specifications of the OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro leaked last month, telling us how the duo will differ. Today, we are looking at their full specs sheets, complete with pricing info courtesy of a Slovakian retailer which leaves little to the imagination ahead of the April 14 unveiling.

OnePlus has already confirmed that 8 and 8 Pro will be powered by the Snapdragon 865 SoC, and from a previous leak, we know that both smartphones will have two memory versions - 8GB/128GB and 12GB/256GB. However, today's leak reveals that the 256GB option will not be available in all color variants.

The two smartphones will run Android 10 out of the box, likely with a new version of OxygenOS, and they will come with Dark Mode 2.0 with support for more apps.

    OnePlus 8 leaked render

The OnePlus 8 will sport a 6.55" FullHD+ 90Hz Fluid AMOLED display, having an aspect ratio of 20:9 and a pixel density of 402ppi. The Pro model, on the other hand, will pack a 6.78" QHD+ 120Hz Fluid AMOLED panel, with a pixel density of 513ppi and an aspect ratio of 19.8:9.

A previous leak revealed that OnePlus 8 will pack a triple camera setup, comprising of 48MP, 16MP and 2MP modules, whereas the Pro model will sport a quad camera setup, which will be a combination of two 48MP snappers, one 8MP cam and one 5MP unit. The latest leak sheds more light on the camera department.

The 48MP unit on the vanilla 8 will have a Sony IMX586 sensor, with 16MP and 2MP modules having ultrawide and macro cameras, respectively.

    OnePlus 8 Pro leaked render

The Pro version gets Sony IMX689 for the main camera, while the secondary 48MP unit has IMX586 sitting behind an ultrawide angle lens, which will also let users capture macro shots of objects from as close as 3cm.

The 8MP module is a telephoto camera (3x optical, 30x digital) with OIS, while the 5MP unit is described as a color filter (machine translated from German) in the specs sheet that will let you capture photos with "unique style through artistic lighting effects and filters".

The source also claims that OnePlus 8 Pro will feature 3D Audio Zoom and have a flicker sensor in tow.

On the connectivity front, the OnePlus 8 pair will have WiFi 6, NFC, Bluetooth 5.1, and a USB-C port. The duo will also feature stereo speakers and Dolby Atmos and will come with an improved vibration motor.

Pricing for the OnePlus 8 will start at €729 for the 8 GB RAM and 128GB storage model while the 12/256GB trim will go for €835. The 8/128GB OnePlus 8 Pro will set buyers back €930 while the top spec'd 12/256GB model will go for €1,020. Both OnePlus 8 models are expected to go on sale starting April 30.

The size of the new OP8 does not exceed 5.8 "and that of the 8Pro 6". All of specs that you can see on all threads, tweets etc.. are lies !!!
In effect as we can see in the hand of Robert Downey Jr, it looks great, but in reality, the hands of 'Tony Stark' are small.
So what are your conclusions when you see thoses photos o_O
