Marketing name for the Onplus 8 colours: Interstellar Glow, Glacial Green and Onyx Black. The others look cool but I personally would still go with the black, I hope one day Oneplus will make it matte. How do you guys like their name ?

My bet would be that OnePlus 8 Pro would take most of the features from latest Oppo Find X2 Pro. So, Price also would be around ₹60,000

513ppi, 1200nit local peak brightness (800nit overall), 3K QHD+, IP68, 1.07 billion colour display, 65W (or Probably 50W) Warp Charging, 48MP (IMX689) Wide Angle + 48MP (IMX586) Ultra Wide Angle would be present as part of quad camera.

I agree, but a pop-up camera takes 2 or 3 time more space than a non pop-up camera, so at least, the good part is that they can put a bigger battery

100% agree with you on this one. The main reason I went for the OP 7 Pro was for the 'full screen' experience, which none of the other phones had (unless they included a hole punch camera). For me, the screen is the screen and not somewhere that the camera should be placed.

I can understand the move away from the pop-up. Cost, mechanics and space taken up. However, until the technology for underscreen cameras is 'perfect', I can accept this is going to be the trend for this year at least.

I want to talk about the launch itself, not the new phones. I know the thread is asking about the products but what about the event @Crystal Z. ?

Many people on the forum have noticed many of our community members now sporting fancy new OnePlus 8 hoodie sweatshirts in their profile pictures. Users like @Dresa91 @Impersonal @B.I.T.S. @Starcommander @keithnyc @Bouncer71 and many more.

Since there will be no live audience events because of the COVID-19 crisis and gathering restrictions, we know that the launch event is going to be live streamed. However what they aren't advertising is that our wonderful (hoodie) community members will be helping out with the event remotely via video chat/text to answer questions about the new devices. They all have the hoodies so they all look like a team and can represent OnePlus with pride!
