    1. NAMING

We can be assured that OnePlus will include the OnePlus 8 and the higher-end OnePlus 8 Pro, but rumours speculate another budget phone - the OnePlus Z. At first, I thought it would be called the OnePlus 8 Lite, but Max Weinbach, a well-known leaker claimed this device could be called the OnePlus Z. Ishan Agarwal also claimed OnePlus will tout the Z moniker. Other rumors also suggest that OnePlus wants to launch these devices earlier than usual on April, instead of May, like previous phones. Amid COVID-19, the OnePlus lauch event may be announced online on April 14th.

    2. DESIGN

After looking at various 3D models and renders, I thought that the one above really explained the design clearly, and I'm pretty confident the above render is the most accurate. Below is each of the models and the best renders I could find.

Referring to the above renders, The OnePlus 8 seems to have a very similar design to the previous OnePlus 7, which also featured a central rectangular camera model. However, the pictures above suggest that a third lens is added to the OnePlus 8. On the front of the phone, there is a
punch-hole/circle cutout design. The volume, power, and alert slider are in the same places as the OnePlus 7. The USB-type-C port is in its regular place and there’s still no headphone jack. my

The render above includes OnePlus' new logo on the back of the phone which is likely to be on the final product.

The black colour is pretty standard, while the other two are quite unique and new. The names of the colours above are not yet named nor confirmed by OnePlus.

On the back, the phone doesn't look that different than the previous OnePlus 7T Pro, but it get's quite interesting when you look at the front of the phone. OnePlus seems to have ditched their all screen display for a punch-hole cutout. It’s possible the OnePlus 8 Pro could be the first IP-certified device from OnePlus. It’s extremely difficult for a device with a mechanical pop-up camera to earn an IP rating, so OnePlus might have made the ultimate sacrifice to earn the legendary certification. my

    1585659419450.jpg

    1585659419487.jpg

    1585659419517.jpg

According to the renders above, the OnePlus Z looks quite different from previous OnePlus phones. The camera bump on the back looks very different from the other devices in the OnePlus 8 series.

It does seem like it has a triple-lens camera in that apparent real-life image, but a dual-lens camera system on the back is wayy more likely for a budget device.

This phone is clearly a budget phone. It has a flat display instead of a curved one, and seems to have two rear lenses instead of higher-tier devices which have 3-5 camera's. It also looks like it has larger display bezels. Unfortunately, according to the leaks, OnePlus is still not bringing back the jack.

    3. SPECS

    - 5G
    - 120Hz

4500mah isn't enough to handle QHD+ 120HZ screen. It need at least 5000mah, when i see how awful the battery life is on my 7 Pro, i need to settle with FHD+ 60hz... to get average battery life

some recent leaks even mention 3 OnePlus devices coming this time - the OnePlus 8, OnePlus 8 pro and a sub 30k device powered by the mediatek dimensity.

    1585668640903.jpg

Another possible rumour is that the test or prototype designs for the glass back panels of OnePlus 6 and 6t, which were officially showcased by OnePlus as the designs which could not make it to production - it seems that atleast one of those back panel designs could make its way to the production with the OnePlus 8 series.

Really hope that the second rumour turns out to be true[e]1f609[/e][e]1f609[/e]

For the OnePlus 8, we have a lot of leaks before the launch. We know the specs, maybe the colors, some features.

Let's start with the Colors, they are really nice, I love the black, and the new sunset like gradient. Not personally a fan of the new green color, but I can see why people like it.

With the specifications, we know that it will have flagship specifications (obviously). Including a Snapdragon 865, 8 GB or 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and fast UFS 3.0 Storage in 128 or 256GB options.
The camera should be flagship too, even tho OnePlus was never the top in the camera department, we are expected to see it in Top 5 on DXOMark, which is amazing. We expect a 48 + 48 + 8 + 5MP Camera on the rear. It is expected that they will be in the configuration: Main (Wide), Ultrawide, Telephoto, TOF (Depth). For the selfie camera, we expect a single hole punch with 16 MP.
The charging, we won't see an upgrade, and Warp Charge 30T will stay with 30W Fast Charging. First time on a OnePlus, we might also see 3W Reverse Wireless Charging which is slow, but a good step in the right direction. Talking about this, we expect 30W Wireless Charging, this would mean it's the fastest wireless charging in the world yet.
We also expect to see a 6.78in Super AMOLED 120hz Display with a panel from Samsung.
We might see a 4510mAh battery which should last 1-2 days without a problem.

For the OnePlus 8 non-Pro, we expect a 48+16+2 MP Camera, which is quite a downgrade. Basically the non pro 8 is a 7 Pro combined with a 7T.

We might also see a OnePlus 8 Lite which might end up being called OnePlus Z (Successor to OnePlus X). We don't really know anything about this.

And we might also see the OnePlus Concept One, which is amazing, but also really expensive.

And finally, we will hopefully see OnePlus 8 Pro McLaren Edition in the next few months as usual.

That's it and, which OnePlus 8 model is your favorite?
