Last night, I was able to convert my T-Mobile OnePlus 7 Pro to the exact same firmware that you would get if you buy the OnePlus 7 Pro unlocked from OnePlus. It's so amazing & even faster than before. No more T-Mobile Bloatware (only two were there, but can simply uninstall like any other app), the pink boot up screen you would get when you turn off or turn on is no longer present!! AND you get the latest software updates immediately from OnePlus directly, instead of T-Mobile. If you want to do this too, I highly recommend it. It is very very stable.

The download link/steps are on "XDA Developers" website or just type on YouTube. This isn't the first time you can do this, it was possible on last year's OnePlus 6T. I'm now on the latest 9.5.11 of Oxygen OS on the T-Mobile OnePlus 7 Pro. It is completely safe, however it won't require you to have your device or bootloader unlocked. Just remember that when after you launch the program "Msm Download Tool" once you have all the necessary files together & extracted in one folder, hold on both volume buttons while the device is off completely & plug in your charging cable & again hold the volume buttons again & press "Start" shown on the program immediately when you see your device is connected". You'll see a green progress bar.

Has anyone had issues with the downloads not being extractable? that's all I keep getting. the computer treats them as if they're either unknown or. exe files.

I had issues, but I was able to extract them after downloading a zip file app, then it worked!! You will know everything is extracted when you see TWO of the "MSM Download Tool" program/file.

Last night I converted my Oneplus 6T (T-Mobile Version) to the McLaren international version. I too have a Oneplus 7 Pro. I plan to do the same. Any new updates or advice?

That's awesome!! My advice to u when you do it on your OnePlus 7 Pro is make sure you have all 3 correct drivers extracted into the same folder & back up your device. it's really a very easy process!! Enjoy!!!

Yeah it was very easy installing drivers. The drivers are built into the phone. Ya see ehen you plug it into your computer. your computer will recognize your phone. By going to windows explorer you will see the phone show up under "this PC". If you click on it the OnePlus USB Drivers are there to install...

This is cool but where can you download the T-Mobile original stock firmware if you decide to roll back?

I did this back in June and had no issues until last night when I loaded the new Android 10 open Beta. After I loaded it, the phone was then in a network lock out. I ended up having to put the T-Mobile version back on in order to get it unlocked. I needed to anyway because I'm paying my phone off this week and I'm not certain they could have unlocked it with that firmware on it. Just letting you know what may happen.

I still can't get the conversion to international working. think an old laptop would be the reason? I'm talking 2007 old

The Android 10 that's right now available for OnePlus 7 Pro is a beta & ONLY for OnePlus 7 Pro devices either unlocked from T-Mobile or purchased from OnePlus website. I just learned about this too. I had to revert back to Pie just to use my phone again.

if you want to go back to Stock T-Mobile firmware from the international firmware, just simply type YouTube channel "Gadget Beard" he did a video of going back & the video is pretty much the same as the international firmware which he did already, but he did provide the links to the stock firmware for T-Mobile.

Does this unlock your phone? I bought one from a guy and he told me that it was unlocked when I went to check it it wasn't. It's not reported or anything it's just not unlocked. And the app doesn't let me unlock it.

ok need some help here hopefully someone smarter than me can help, I recently unlocked my OnePlus 7pro from T-Mobile after 4 months. I also removed it from T-Mobile and went to straight talk believe it or not alot better, anyway I'm trying to convert to the international version or which ever will allow me to update to latest TMobile is painfully slow here. So I got adb running and downloaded all the files from xda but for some reason my phone won't recognize in adb... so I've tried debugging and I've installed the drivers from OnePlus application after plugging in the phone even tried the whole "update drivers" in Windows and it says it's unable to find the drivers.

can someone please rescue me from the death grip that is TMobile I will never be that impatient for a phone again.

Here is the video that I used to rebrand my TMobile OnePlus 7 Pro to international firmware.

The device driver's, you can get them from XDA developers which is also in the video. When you get to adb. type "adb devices" & make sure your phone is connected to the computer.

Make sure you're using a Windows PC/laptop, not a Mac.
Once you have all the files to convert, you will know you're ready when you see TWO of the MSMTOOL program in the same folder.

When you do get the program running, uncheck the SHA256 Icon.

    Here is the link/video turtorial.

Since you're now using straight talk as your Carrier. The firmware is still exactly TMobile before you convert.

I assume you clicked on settings>about and clicked on build 7 times. Then go to settings>settings>developer mode and enable usb debugging. if all you drivers are correct the last thing you'll need to do once plugged in is pull down the status menu and click on Android system and change it from charging to file transfer. see if that works.
