Did you ever use the Nexus Root Toolkit? I think it was by Wugfresh. I had used it all the time on the Nexus phones I went thru rooting and what not. Well, anyways, there's a similar program you may not know of it's called Tool All in One. it's very similar and has a lot of functionality on Oneplus' phones.

For anyone that has converted, can you answer a couple of questions?

1 - does the conversion negatively impact signal strength since TMO claims their version is optimized for its network?
2 - are you able to upgrade to Android 10.0.1 that is supposed to be on all phones this week?

    Thanks in advance.

Everything works 100% & yes you will still get updates. That's the whole point of converting from the stock TMobile firmware to the international. The international firmware is the exact same firmware you get if you buy the OnePlus 7 Pro from OnePlus website.

I've had the firmware since it came out.

still need help with T-Mobile stock rom? I had a T-Mobile version and converted it to international. well about a month later my phone lock was turned on which wouldn't allow me to use my second sim. so I reverted back to TMobile made sure to completely unlock it. then I converted it to international for the last time I hope. so if you still need TMobile stock rom let me know

I still need the T-Mobile stock rom, going crazy can't find it no where.....if you do have a link please link me.
    thanks in advance.

    1. I can tell you I haven't noticed a difference but I live in a spotty area so I can't say for sure. I have a cellspot in my home which gives me full bars constantly and that hadn't changed. My phone was TMobile converted it to international and back again to TMobile (bc I had a temp. unlock which I didn't realize so that's why I converted back.). but now I'm back to international after I got the full unlock. it's very simple to do so id go ahead and convert it.

if you want concrete proof I have a crazy thought go to:

    https://www.t-mobile.com/offers/free-trial

they will send you a free hotspot in the mail with 30 day free trial. So convert your phone to international and just carry around the Hotspot with you and compare the signal strengths.

Converting does not unlock your phone, you need to either pay your phone off to get it unlocked, or if you have a T-Mobile OnePlus 7 Pro, u can have a guy from xda developers Sim unlock for you. He did kind in a couple days & it worked!! Sim unlock/network unlocked is important so you when you update to new version of Android/Oxygen OS, your network won't be locked.

if you have a sprint OnePlus 7 pro 5g you able to flash OnePlus international rom. Only the OnePlus phones that made international ROMs does this like most oneplus phones. I'm stuck with a Onepkus 7T Pro 5G McLaren and they never made an international version. So even though dual sim is build into the hardware of every Oneplus 7 Pro some provides (tmobile) blocked the use of the second sim. Check out Debranding Oneplus 7 Pro 5G Sprint thread on xda. It allows you to convert to the international version.

I wish I had someone that lived close to me in Charleroi Pennsylvania that could convert my OnePlus 7 pro from T-Mobile to the international version. I'm not that tech savvy to do all that.
