COS 13.1: How do I clear the cache?

  1. galmok Gingerbread Jun 10, 2016

    galmok, Jun 10, 2016 :
The clear cache option in the boot menu has gone and now I wonder how to clear the cache?

I'd like to clear the cache as I hope this will fix the horrible battery life 13.1 gives. It is even worse than 13 that itself was horrible compared to 12 that itself was horrible compared to 11.

There is a trend that Android announces better battery life with each new release but cyanogen make a release with worse battery life with each release. What gives?

I am not looking to make a factory reset. Or are you suggesting that the 'factory reset' option is actually a sub-menu where I can find the clear cache option?

I feel the same! As much as they say 'battery life got better" I am only seeing it go worse with every release. Does anybody know why this happens?
