COS13 - how to wipe cache partition?

    How to wipe cache partition in COS13?
    "Wipe cache partition" was removed from recovery...

    Recovery menu:
    Reboot system now
    Apply update
    Factory reset
    Advanced
    -> Reboot recovery
    -> Reboot to bootloader
    -> View recovery logs
    -> Power off

    Is wiping the cache in recover the same as wiping the cache in Settings>Storage & USB>Cached Data ?

    yes it is but in recovery mode no app are running.

    Try below steps to Wipe cache partition on android phone.

    Step 1:
    First of all switch off the your phone

    Step 2: Press & hold the volume down button and the power button at the same time until the phone turns on.

    You can see the Android system recovery screen on your device. By default “start” button seen on your android nougat 7.0.

    Step 3: Press the volume down button until you see recovery mode

    Step 4: Press the power button to restart in recovery mode

    You can see screen of android robot with red exclamation mark on phone screen.

    Step 5: Press volume buttons to scroll to wipe cache partition, press the power button to select it.

    You can view this message on screen: Wipe cache?

    Step 6: To confirm, use volume buttons to scroll to "Yes" and press the power button to select it.

    Clearing the cache data may take 2-5 minutes.

    Step 7: Use the volume buttons to scroll to "reboot system now", press the power button to select it.

    That's it.

    Putting it under factory reset is pretty unintuitive. That the one thing I don't want to do.
