    hi!

sometimes I see(cpu-z) that one core of the CPU ain't running. it's marked as "stopped" and it's only showing 3 CPU cores. it's not stopped as in power save. phone needs to be rebooted to get it going again. anybody seen this behaviour. is the phone busted or is it a bug.

The phone is designed to not use it if it doesnt need it. If you started playing a heavy game then looked i bet it starts

I know it's supposed to do that but I don't think so.

it also shows cores 3(4 cpus) in cpu-z. and I need to reboot to get it going. I've tried to force it by using/opening alot of apps (I don't really game anything heavy) at the same time. the three "working" cores run on high frequency

that is another discussion but when using cpu-z (and all cores work) it never goes in to sleep. it did before update to 9. I've written about this in the battery drain thread.

downloaded "simple system monitor" and it shows very little sleep time.

I'll get back when it happens again and I can see it in other apps as well .

ok. now it's happened again. one core stopped/sleeping. can't get it to start again. push the cpu with a benchmark and it kept staying offline. multiple different "monitor "softwares reports the same issue.

    anybody has any idea .

    thanks
