that looks great i love it
This is really good. the second one especially, beautiful night landscape, which place is this?
There is a method to do reverse shadow effect on water surface. I'll try to get your image from here and explain. Can you tell me which app you used and the font style?
Place is London, the big wheel is called London Eye, it's well known overall. I found this pic on the internet, I didn't take it myself.
App: Photoshop touch
Font: approved in Banshee Sta
M D in Myriad Pro (= Arial)
The fonts are similar to other fonts.
"Father & Son"
This photo is about family lines, bonds and shadows obviously, lines coming together, roots, the family tree, all kinds of symbols in one picture. Quite a bit of post production, but tried to not be obvious about it.
Original pic, for testing purpose. Found/ borrowed from the internet.
Wish i had taken it it's not made by me and surely not taken with a phone.
This thread is about adding some creative post production to pictures, so I dared to use a foreign picture.
so silly of me to not know London eye ! it looked different with the letters, was sort of busy at work. I will take the same photo and try to do some edits.[e]1f44d[/e]
Hey script, I made some variations to that photo just to emphasize the importance of typography.
made using picsart. its a subtle effect that makes the word stand out. Not a perfect example but you see what I did there?
made the letters look like huge structures in itself.-
adding a shadow,
hiding the below part of 'D' behind a building.
then I made a similar text and mirrored it by inverting it on the water.
Decreased the opacity so that it looks like a reflection.
Next i used warp tool to disfigure the shadow as its more natural on water.
Finally to change the perspective of the image , used the 'perspective' tool to give a slant below upwards look for the letter giants.
Hope you get the drift. An ordinary typo can be made extraordinary with such efforts. Took me a total of 10mins, maybe another 10 could be used to give final touches and perfection- as it was an example I did not bother.
Hope this helps. Try out more. Cheers[e]1f44d[/e]
Thx, great work again, and a good inspiration to try out more. (At least I would know whom to ask for help, hehe)
Ok another week without any action here, so here is another one from me.
This is to help everyone make Name Titles.
Many of you here make someone else's photo or an image they can relate to as their dp. Some just type in their name stylized. Why not make a personalized name title in your photo. (You could still save your ugly face from publicity).
Ok enough words here is one I created. Its my name itself in malayalam( my mother tongue.) As i believe its an eloquent and curvy typography language.
Have a great day.
Scanning the idiot.. OPO, Pretty random click from my Laptop Screen,Pixlr, Snapseed. Have phun.
its more like silly xD but yeag
used double exposure.. and the pic in the leaf has been edited a bit by snapseed..
Wow, mighty impressed. I did a few of those myself, but i have to admit this is very cool. the sunset on a leaf. Next up ..your silhouette and another shot double exposed. Keep up the good work.
Would you also care to briefly explain the app and technique you used for the double exposure.
this was the original pic and i used snapseed to turn it into a BW pic using the provided modes as i was too lazy though I would recommend to do it manually..
this image was clicked using manual mode at iso 200 and shutter speed around 1/80 and tinkered with the white balance which i cant recall.. was little less than 7K..
lil bit of saturation and details and brightness
used snapseed for double exposure.. first apply the 2nd pic over the part you want then apply it then go the layers menu and select "view edits" then select double exposure and that brush button and use it to apply the effect on selected area

tried my best to do so.. xD not very good with words
I disagree, you explained that very well.
Great photo, and great explanation, very interesting. Thank you very much!!
