I used a computer (Dell) running Windows 10 and I ran a full system scan this morning after reading @rarog post : no virus found (Avast).

I used my laptop to buy the phone (beginning of December) and the OP5T to buy a cover (end of December).

I regularly scan for virus and I would exclude that as a possible cause. But I will run a scan later today.

    tks

Sure thing - I run regular virus scans (btw, my PC was off for two weeks when the fraud happened, so it can't have been immediate). According to the scan from yesterday, it's all clean, no threats found.
So yeah, I purchased through a PC using Win10 and the latest Firefox. No viruses.

Hi I'm the second user in the list (changed username after posting). I haven't any issues with OnePlus before (and wouldn't be massively into phones) so had no reason to post in the forums for advice or opinions. It was only when I read this thread today, someone asked for users to comment instead of just answering the poll. (And as I stated, the fraud occurred last night.) I like OnePlus phones a lot and wouldn't try and tarnish their image, but this isn't acceptable and I wanted to let people know it happened to me.

    :)

There is no virus nor malware associated with one's personal computer for this case of credit card fraud.

Think it through. Users here don't make purchases elsewhere as well?

The commonality is a credit card purchase through the Oneplus site and ONLY that.

Ayer me llamaron de mi banco avisándome de dos intentos de fraude intentando comprar un billete de avión y alquilar un coche .
Es posible que sea casualidad, pero nunca en mi vida me pasó.

After changing you have to logout and login again AFAIK. Though I'm not sure if it's not just for you seeing the change.

Trojans targeting online banking also target only one site and ONLY that usually as they are specialised.

Nevertheless, I hop OnePlus will start contacting everybody or will be contacted by the victims, so they can check when and what purchases were done and then see, when, where and how the security breach could have happened

To suggest that users are trying to bring down the reputation of oneplus is a farce. Had there been a real initiative, I would suspect that there would be far more votes. I really like my phone, just unhappy with the fraud.

I hope that OnePlus will officially address this issue as soon as possible.

Yo estoy muy muy contento con el teléfono, es fantástico.
Pero nunca he tenido un intento de fraude con una tarjeta.
Solo compro en Amazon o con Paypal.

Hard to say what is what without hard details. For those affected, what other sites have you used the cards? have you ever used it unattended in a shop? When making purchases with those cards, what wifi or internet connection were you used? What device? ie at home with your PC or a local coffee shop with a laptop?
