I bought my OnePlus 5T a week before Christmas. Last week I received a strange message from my bank, and I have found that lots of transitions have been done with my credit card! Now that I've found this thread and I know the reasons I'm going to denunce it to the Police

Two of my cards have been compromised. I posted about one already earlier because I didn't yet know about the 2nd one. When I purchased my OP 5T I initially was going use my debit card, which ended up being declined. I thought it was just an issue with my bank so I decided to use my CC, which went through. My CC had unauthorized transactions the very next day after the payment for my OP5T was processed. Out of concern, I decided to check my bank account of the debit card I used first, even though that payment declined. Guess what? There was a $2,500 charge from some Farmers Flooring company. I called my bank immediately to cancel my debit card. They informed me that another transaction was attempted for $11,000. Thank God it was declined because of my spending limit. Oh and I live in Florida. At least two of the fraudulent charges occurred in Minnesota. This is the first OP phone I've ever bought and will likely be my last. I can't trust a company with such little security that so many people have had they're CC information stolen.

Hey there! Purchased and then cancelled an order for OnePlus in December. It was on a card that I almost never use for online purchases. We usually only use it for gas and groceries. I got the fraud alert on Sunday morning.Obviously the details were sold to another American who used them to spend over a couple hundred over the weekend.

Thought I was the only one, got a call Friday about many charges being made out of my account over $2,000 worth. All taking place in person in Florida, while I'm here in Jersey. Anyone with info of what to do next ?

I bought two OnePlus phones in early November, and almost 500 US dollars in all disappeared from my bank account in credit card fraud in November and December. There is of course no proof that the two things are connected, but given the number of other cases, it does look suspicious.

I got a call from my bank because of a suspicious charge on my card. I couldn't think of how this had happened and then I saw an article on the Google Now section about this and it finally made sense. Thanks a lot for posting! Glad to know how it happened.

It took about a week after my purchase before the fraud started.

My bank told me they would send me a free prepaid Visa next time I wanted to purchase from somewhere I wouldn't normally.

Same for me. Bought my new 5T on Jan 1st, today was notified via mail on a >600 EUR transaction on my card account for a purchase I never made. I immeditely reported it and my card has been blocked. Getting a new one now. Still have to object the actual payment though soon. Hope everything will be fine.

Same here. I bought by 5T back in November and was contacted by my bank about a fraudulent transaction last Wednesday. Luckily they blocked the transaction and the card.
