does it matter the point is if all that have had this issues don't report to support this thread will not get heard

the point is all with this issue should contact oneplus and ask them what has happened and reference this thread

I feel sorry for all this has happened to, hopefully you are covered against fraud but it is imperative you all put pressure on oneplus to find out the root cause

Hey I have the same problem. My credit card issuer has told me to deactivate my card since there has been suspicious activity in foreign countries. Please help us as soon as possible. So far, really disappointing.

You should review your credit cards that you at least some times granted your card's information to a seller (?) then they have some transactions with other stories . In result , your credit card would be charged on your name or your bank detected your billing and shipping address is very different and wouldn't have paid for the suspected and immediately alert you a potential fraud.
Suggest that Let's instantly replace our cards ( stolen or lost ) and not to blame anyone for our ignorance !
It's reason for PAYPAL Holdings,Ins , American company's growing up.

No. Whilst I appreciate your comments about moving forward, just cancelling your cards and forgetting about it isn't an option. I personally suspect a major data breach here, and brushing over it isn't the solution. Just paying for everything with Paypal also isn't a solution.

It has been raised with Oneplus Support - who are investigating.

No that is the wrong point, Oneplus have been notified and they will have to take action towards the payment system they use. It is more important that every person who have used a credit card on the site check with their bank.

Thanks for the above insights. Agree with a lot of points. However, with my issue the fraudsters also blocked my current mobile phone (my phone went dead suddenly) and when I contacted EE, they advised that someone had reported my phone "lost". So they managed to get past security with my phone company, using my personal details they had stolen.

So unfortunately there is more to it than the credit card fraud. There's the impact of key personal information that has been stolen and used for impersonation / further frauds. This is the side of it that I am most pissed about, the credit card fraud is not so much of an issue as I have had full refunds.

    nasty stuff mate

make sure you don't get caught out with cold calling in the next couple of days asking you to confirm who you are, could be more phishing calls on their way.

these people are scum who pay for others data

I cast my vote - same thing happened to me. I check my CC a few times a week, noticed charges on Skrill I did not do - CC cancelled, new one in the mail.

I bought 5T launch day, charges happened Thursday a little after midnight.

I'd advise anyone who used their credit card to buy from Oneplus recently to call their card provider and get a replacement card.

I'm not so sure about that man, it hasn't been two weeks when I started getting charges from major retail stores. I didn't store details here either - just bought a OnePlus 5T and opted not to keep payment details on my account.

could be a hack of data then direct from oneplus they could have stored it without your consent.

all sounding a but fishy to me

Bought the phone literally 11 minutes after it launched on the website. Just checked the bank statements and everything is fine.
