Working custom rom or not Oct 3, 2018

    hello guys, I own a one plus5 which is not in warranty anymore.
    since the android pie for OP5 going to take time, is it a wise decision to install custom ROM to experience android pie?

    it is entirely up to you. a lot will depend on your technical competency as to how easy/worth your while it is.

    see , I m enough familiar with custom roms. have been using them on previous devices since years. but the oxygen os is so good it never let me felt the need of a custom ROM. But, also the android pie update is going to take time and it's already out there for OP5 on custom roms .. I feel an urge to flash it. but simultaneously I also feel what if right after unlocking my device and rooting one plus starts releasing Pie builds for OP5.
    tell me whether to go for custom roms or not.

    OnePlus hasn't started even Pie beta for the 5/5T. So you have at least 1-2 months of waiting. If you want to test Pie so much, do it.
