I was hoping Cyanogen 12.1 would have had the battery drain fixed.

Best battery life was still COS 11S

Am disappointed with OPO and Cyanogen.

    Anyone facing the same problem?

CM 12.1 Nightlies had really good battery back up too... But COS 12.1 drains the battery a lot...

CM 12.1 has been great for battery life for me

Edit: Here's my current battery usage with hours of Bluetooth connection, web browsing, YouTube, downloading podcasts, keeping at half brightness most of the time, and etc. over the past couple of days. Somewhere close to six or seven hours of screen on time total on balanced battery setting

Yes, I'm also having same problem. Battery has been terrible on 5.0.2 and on 5.1.1. I used to get close to 5.5 to 6 hrs SOT on 11S. Was hoping that battery drain improvements were taken care in COS12.1, but I strongly suspect this could be Lollipop specific issue (related to mobile radio active bug). As per some reports this is fixed and will be available in Marshmallow. Fingers crossed for better battery life on COS13!

    That doesn't even make sense.

Got my phone in February and the battery was fine until this update.

Yesterday I had 1 hour 47 minutes of SOT and my battery was at 8% when I turned off my phone. Before the update, I would have had, on average, about 30-40%.

Let's face it lollypop is just rubbish destroyed the pleasure of using phones, and as for cm 12.1 we wait months for updates for a rubbish update, mobile Internet to and from wifi to going outside still broken, now I'm. Not sure if it's because cm12 is just rubbish for phones or if it's cm themselves who just can't provide the goods any more as I agree cm11s was the best ever and was not many things to fix, but with cm12.1 I'm, so disappointed with lack of getting things fixed and rubbish battery etc list goes on Oh I'm disappointed maybe they just got to big and have to. Many phones to do and now can't provide the goods anymore maybe they taken on far too much, as other companies not having so many problems to this degree, and if they do quick fixes come out but not for us we got wait months to get anything now, it's funny really oneplus have brought out more updates in 3 weeks for the one 2 than we have in a year lol lol bit of a joke really can see were not important any more

I throttled my exchange accounts to update every 15 minutes in stead of push. Its a lot better now.
