Cyanogen OS 12.1 idle battery drain Sep 3, 2015

My phone was working fine till now, but from the past 2 days I'm having serious battery issues, if I switch on the WiFi. The phone heats up and my SOT has gone down to 1-2 hrs.
Anybody has a solution?
I wiped the cache through advanced reboot and still I'm having this issue.

Did you downgrade to Google Play Services 8.1.13? Since I am running 8.1.15 and have major battery lose

I used to have battery issues, disconnecting my phone at 6am and having to recharge around 2-3pm, with having around 2-3 hours of SOT, I tried wiping the cache, messing with privacy settings, everything, nothing worked, I read around the forum that doing a factory reset seemed to worked so I gave it a try, note I'm having around 4-5 of SOT, so if you don't mind the hassle, gave it a try

Help!!! been having some serious issues with my 1+1 since the last 2 system updateS and currently running: android version 5.1.1, Cyanogen OS version 12.1 YOG4PAS1N0.
Issues:
1.Battery drain real fast! An overnight charge and my phone battery drains by 1pm and I am not even using it as I am at work.
2.Slow charging: Been trying to charge my phone since 11:30am and phone is only now at 30%.I had to unplug it from the charger and plug it again. Why: 'cause at first it was saying 12h to full charge. When unplug and plug again that has changed to 3h now. I am using the phone's own cable and connector to electricity.
3.Hot to touch when charging: The back of the phone is really hot to the touch as the phone is charging. Any tips/hints to resolve this will be much appreciated. Thank you already.

hello friends plz help me out
my one plus one fell in the water for 2 sec and i have been problems with it ever since....
got it repaired but battery drained down to almost 70% to what it was previously....got a new battery...now it is stuck at 50%..not charging....and sim card is also not being detected by opo

Im concerned about the way you charge...
You should be charging up to 100% and recharging when you r down to 0-20%.

Same exact issue. At one time I would disconnect my phone.and 3hrs later still be at 100% now goes down by 25%

Don't know what is going on but, my battery life is the pita now. Very bad. Nothing I try to fix works.
