Just a shout out to any of you that are still using the original phone, I'm starting to have problems with app compatibility and newer versions of android aren't supported but I have had this phone for nearly 6 years, the stock battery lasts all day 6am to 8pm with bluetooth music running most of the time and light browsing. I don't want to upgrade because I will never have a phone this reliable!

The Google app will be a server side setting, that Google will have to enable and give you the option if they add a theme to it. So not from the phone side.

While this is the wrong forum, as its 6 series, there are some Mod Roms out there for the original OnePlus, some based on more recent versions of Android, which might make it last a bit longer. Plenty of info on what to do and how to do it.

Ambient mode was activated yesterday after i left it charging, not much of a use for me though.
my old OnePlus which runs custom Android 9 got it before my OnePlus 6 on 10.

No i didn't receive any notification. It was a server side activation. I checked it a day before and and the option was not there.
