I have the problem too and hope to get a more less noisy dash charger for a replacement.

that's call coil whine, I have that on my QC2 charger for Mi4c too, I'm not worried about it, but yes it might be annoying for more sensitive people

I opened a support ticket about the matter and supplied the pictures they wanted of the charger (see previous page for their request)

I have coil whine on my charger too. It's annoying but I can live with it. Definitely don't want to be doing the return/replacement thing with OP anytime soon.

I diddn't have to send the old one back, they just sais they'd be shipping a new one.

I am just wondering if it is harmfull to the phone. It may be coil whine or not, but I want to be sure.

If it wasn't harmfull, why would they send a replacement?

I don't think so. Just check the charging stats with an app (e.g. "Ampere " ). If the temperature, volt and mA are normal everything should be fine

    While charging between 20-80%:
    3000-3400 mA
    3,8-4,1V
    30-40°C

Well I never noticed before but mine does that too.
I think there no point of replacing it, you'll end up with the same.

Did you try without the phone plugged in?
Because You can only hear it when it's not actually charging
