    that's the wrong conversion. 1Gigabyte (GB) = 1000Megabyte(MB) the conversion is in bytes not bits. I think OP messed up.

    same answer as the response I have to Rahul. this is in gigabytes not but so it should be 1000=1. do the conversion on Google. it gives 1000=1

    I don't know about that but any Samsung phone I've had and I think on iPhone too, they convert 1000=1. when I type in the data limit on a Samsung, it gives me the full 5 gb not 4.88gb. this technicality of 1024 is unnecessary and both are correct even though the common form is 1000=1.

    I understand that. Its just that when even carriers post on their websites that 1GB = 1000 "approximately" normal people just assume 1000 and putting in this different conversion just makes it technical and unconvinent especially for a regular user without technical experience. I would love to switch it but I can't.
