Hey guys, the reason my topic looks like that is this------ Due to some hardware issue I got my oneplus replaced last week and the day before new year starts my week old beloved OnePlus has died without any single reason while possessing battery amount of 39%. After noticing it I tried to turn it on also tried to perform several hard boots but my One wouldnt wake up and not even a signal or vibrate. I thought If I recharge it then it shall be fine and i did try to charge, but there was no sign of charging light. Then I moved to forum and figured out I wasnt the only one who has faced this problem. I contacted Tech Support and amazingly i got a reply by a nice lady named Evelyn within a hour saying this

Thanks for reaching out. This is a common issue with all LiPo batteries. I would suggest power-cycling your phone three times. Just follow these
    steps:
    1. Let your OnePlus One completely run out of power, until it shuts down.
    2. Plug in your OnePlus One to charge continuously, uninterrupted, for at least 6
    hours.
    3. Repeat Step 1 and Step 2 for three consecutive charge cycles and your OnePlus
One should reach 100% when fully charged.

One final suggestion, it might be best to do Step 2 overnight to conveniently allow
your phone to charge completely uninterrupted.

    Hope this helps!

    Best regards,
    Evelyn

Then after reading the first step I felt like how in the world am I supposed to let it run out of battery until it shuts down when it already is dead. I replied then saying that my phone is dead and one more time surprisingly within couple of hours I got this message by a mysterious named lady/guy(wasnt able figure out) MUSK-----

Thanks for your reply, do you mean you can't turn on your device now?

Regarding the issue please follow this steps,

    1) Keep the phone for 12 hours without touching and charging...
    2) Charge with official charger and usb for 6 hours(after the above mentioned steps) and then
    3) Pull off the usb and put back again ... and you may get a LOW battery screen again staying for 4 / 5 mins...
    4) Now don't try to boot or anything.. let it charge for 1 hour or more.
    5) Now finally boot your device by pressing power button for few seconds
    6) Phone should boot normally…

    Regards and Happy new year,
    Musk

So now i am going to just follow these instruction and i can only hope my one turns back to life because I love my One. That is my one and only handset and if My first day of the year goes this bad I will have no choice but blame OneplusOne for this situation of mine.

    Thank You guys,
I hope now you understand why its a dead happy new year for me.
    Huhhhhh, Opo come back!

Maybe you could use your warranty? Or If all else fails there's always mouth to mouth?
