Went to bed lat night with my OP3T connected to Dash charger... it was well over 90% charged, but I figured I'd let it top off and be full for the morning.

Disconnected this morning and noticed the screen didn't turn on (usually does when disconnecting, I think).

anyway, won't power on. and I've tried connected to the Dash wall charger, a car Dash charger, and regular USBcharger .. each has its own cable... the LED never illuminates.

I've tried the 5 long presses of the power button.. also tried VOL down + power .. no response to either.

It seems to be dead. I don't think you can do anything more than just to take it to the customer service.

Don't worry about counting, press and hold the power button! Hold until vibration! Or until it hurts lol.

My 3T thing did the same a few months ago. Got desperate and held down power for a full 2 minutes and it came back to life.

That's the point. Making sure it's empty. Then stick it on the charger for a while and try the power button again.

No.. That is to boot into fastboot, vol down for rescue mode.

If it will boot, it will boot.. If it won't, it won't.. The choice between WHAT boots is made later on in the boot sequence

Are you sure the battery isn't dead? If you messed up the charge cable then it could have simply died.

Do you get an LED when plugging in the charge cable?. If not, you can take it apart and make sure all the connectors are snug.
