Well i am already experiencing that on my ROG 2 and let me tell you that if you switch from 90hz to 120hz you won't find any difference but from 60hz to 120hz is something freaking fast...:D

I'm quite interested as we all have followed CES2020 quite closely. Since OnePlus's answer to this was not so consumer friendly I'm quite thrilled as to what OnePlus has got for consumers in 2020.

Departments where OnePlus needs to give attention:
    1) Timely Camera updates (guess this is why company focused on contests related to it)

    2) wireless earphones solution (though bullets wireless 2 work pretty but they have got issues unique to them. )

    3) Fast charge technology (You might think of me as a mad person but belive me when i say Realme beat them in their own game with X2Pro's insane 50 watt Adapter and battery tech)

4)Loyal customer satisfaction (I'm sure many will agree and yes we want those accessories ready and in stock when we want them and pretty good initiative like RCC for awesome community members )

    5) Pricing strategy (Maybe users owning 6T and 7 can tell this better). {I guess they found the solution to this with rumoured OnePlus Lite series,as they move from Flagship killers to Premium flagship products lineup but let's see how that turns out for OnePlus)

I'm a happy customer and many are too...But hey OnePlus we are here to grow together.

Hit that like if you guys agree with me.

they are trying to compete with Google, Samsung and Apple devices it's to be expected that they will rise the prices. although it sucks but we can't do anything about it 😅. I have OnePlus 7 with me(my first OnePlus device) but the battery backup is somewhat disappointing. but still it was priced at 33k in starting.

I'm ambivalent over the 120hz display. I appreciate OnePlus wanting to continue to push the envelope in this way - it's what sets them apart from the other major players these days who seem to want to sit on their laurels or only engage in evolutionary technological gains as opposed to REVOLUTIONARY ones.

But I question what the additional cost will be to the average end-user for this new technology at this point. Like others, I wonder about the cost/value ratio on this when the OnePlus 8 family drops. Would it not have made more sense to push this tech as part of the OnePlus Concept (along with the disappearing camera) and build up the hype that way?

I guess I'll get my questions answered when the full specs and costs for the 8's are made known to us.

If you believe to leaks, you are even less smarter than I thought, lol. Those leaks were also predicting qi for 6T, 7 and 7T.

That notch is the ugliest shit on the market right now and they are using it for 3 years. Is that the perfection you're talking about.

i'm hearing that Samsung's s20 plus will not allow you to use 120hz at the highest screen resolution setting and will default to 60hz. you can only use it in FHD. deal breaker city for me.

    don't copy that oneplus!

the prices will continue to go up as the cost of materials and components goes up. oneplus, like every other business, desires to make a profit. the only reason xiaomi prices their devices so low is because their profits don't come from hardware sales but from ads and services. different business model.

all the variants of the op8 be between $750-$825(my prediction). oneplus isn't a budget brand anymore and hasn't been for a couple years now. some of you just need to move on.
