Just a gimmick to increase sales. The human eye will see no difference between 90hz and 120hz.

The only thing you will see is your battery drain faster.

I would guess that Samsungs panel, at least on paper will be better. let's face it, it's Samsung that make the panel, they're going to keep the best for their own. However the OnePlus panel won't be far behind. I have note 10 plus and OnePlus 7t pro . On paper the notes screen is better. But in reality I can't see any difference. I guess it'll be the same on the OnePlus 8 and s20 range. it's been alleged that Samsung will time down the screen refresh rate when on 120hz to full hd! It'll be interesting to see if OnePlus do.the same. I know it's possible to run a qhd screen on.120hz . Let's see

I know from experience using a monitor for gaming at a higher Hz rate. the smoothness of a 120 hertz display it's going to change the game for handheld devices.
I don't call them smartphones anymore because there's so much more than that.

    LMAO
Ever heard of 6 inch gaming monitors with that high refresh rate?

There's zero content of 90Hz or 120Hz on YouTube or other streaming services besides Twitch. Even most of the famous Twitch streamers cap their streams at 60Hz.

First of all, our phones cannot be called as gaming monitors because of the latency. And this technology In mobile phones is new so obv it'll take time for the silicon to reach that level of performance in a mobile device without overheating/being efficient at the same time.
