"To address this problem, we’re including MEMC technology to deliver smoother video playback. MEMC is a technology featured in high-end TVs that uses real-time algorithmic adjustments to insert additional frames to a video file, enabling something shot at 24 or 30fps to play at 60 or even 120fps."

no way. I absolutely do not want soap opera effect on movies I watch.

If it's anything like the "feature" my TV has, then I will be pissed off. the framerate is constantly changing, sometimes slows back.

these interpolation based algorithms NEVER work right. PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, make it optional!

    don't flaunt on samsung technology.

we have seen your camera. even xiomi redmi note 7 pro camera is far better than yours.

what about the battery backup despite 4000 mah and 7 nm technology processor battery drain like 3000 mah and 28nm ...

    app crashes after Android 10.

    heating while playing pubg

camera far from truecolor. forced to use gcam.

For a company that does not manufacture screens this is an outrageous statement. A mish mashing of existing features is not development.
Samsung make the best, why would they give OP their best screen, there is no end to the OTT marketing.

Rog2 already has a 120/240 screen, this makes the 2nd year in a row that you seem to following in Asus's footsteps.

if there would be much innovation, you'd be moaning about oneplus being expensive.

there's a reason oneplus is much cheaper than Samsung, you know

nothing to give.... the word cooperation tells you something?
Even Samsung confirms this cooperation, so maybe read even "other side official news" and be happy if we can enjoy the best AMOLED in cellphone industry
Do you think OP has no other surprises under the hood??;);););)

That's because Samsung is still way ahead in every facet and only use the best.
A OP is now already expensive, just short of a $1000 for a Mclaren isn't cheap by any stretch of the Imagination. ;)

Besides I never moan about a price I am not prepared to pay, I just don't pay it. :D

OP worked closely with Qualcomm on the SD810 v.2.1 to produce the same chip everyone else had. :tearsofjoy:
Its just marketing hype bud, just hype.

True, the McLaren edition IS overpriced for what it offers.

Personally I'm totally fine with not having a state of the art, bells and whistles phone.

just let oneplus do what they're best at: make phones like the 7T. Affordable, good all rounder phone.

leave the innovation to market leaders [e]1f44d[/e]

Sounds great...90hz in the OnePlus 7 Pro is nice, great even, but a proper 1440p 120hz OLED display on a phone is what I've been craving since the 120hz iPad Pro and Razer phone launched. If the rest of the phone can at least match the quality of the OP7 Pro I'll be one of the first to place an order for the OP8 Pro with this display.

I have never seen OP bring anything NEW or SURPRISING.
    240hz sampling
    10 Bit panel
Are all on the market already, some of these features for years, so OP are only doing what they have ways done introduce specs once they become older and cheaper.
What I call a surprise is to see a screen in a phone you can buy for under £200, just tested at 144hz.

Will you still be as excited when you see the price.;)

This is really good if no one is offering this. We are going to see lot of 120hz display phone in 2020 so what is the deal breaker? All OP8 version going to have curve display and punch hole which Samsung already have in market and price difference is not significant between them and you know you get more extra with Samsung or may be T version will offer something different? OP wants to stay relevant, has to keep price lower.

But Carl did say they wanted to be the Apple of Android, hence the incoming third tier to maintain affordable with Xiaomi, Realme and IQoo doing crazy things with pricing.

This big boy won't come cheap.

    Estão de parabéns!

Estou com o OnePlus 5t mas pretendo trocar por um OnePlus 8t pró esse ano!
