Provide mechanism to disable, or ideally delete, Zen Mode. I do not want it on my phone. I am an adult and fully capable of determining for myself when to put the phone down.

Was able to turn off notifications, and disable app, clear cache, it's still uses 1% of my battery average per hour, give option of removing this app please, go to play store and see all the negative comments concerning this app, you are really disappointing OnePlus supporters

To remove zen mode. You have to root the phone. I was able to turn off the notifications until the recent update. I uninstalled the update so I don't get nagged by zen mode. Despite the notification being turned off, the update still pushes notifications nagging. If you don't want zen mode and have successfully turned off its notifications, ignore the update.

Zen mode is for people dependent on the phone. As a psychologist I praise the initiative, but should not be pushed with force like bloatware. Dependents can download it from the Google Play App Store.

Please allow the option for user to disable Zen. It has been an annoyance for me so far. I have no need for Zen and it's useless notifications. After charging all night the Zen app is the first thing I see this morning and I enable. For 20 minutes my phone was useless as a brick. I don't want it and I don't like it one darn bit.

In fact how can you turn off notifications?

Absolutly LOVE this 1+7 Pro Neb/Blue....

If they don't give the true disable option back on the next update. I will consider the Root option. As I would also like the creepy control freaks @ GhoulGhoul out of my life.

My thoughts exactly. Please allow users to disable and delete zen mode natively.

Uninstalling updates helped but it highlights how they updated it to make it more difficult to control notifications or force stop the app (you can force stop on the old version).
Unfortunately, because of this app, I have to stop automatic updates and it makes updating apps more difficult as I can no longer auto-update or even press "update all" .... just so I can avoid updating the Zen Mode app. Bad move by OP. After 5 years a fan, I'll be switching brands if this Zen Mode farce persists.

i tried zen mode for the first time and it is useful tool. New rules in my family from now. whenever we are at dinner table or on picnic, strictly switch on the zen mode for minimum 20 minutes

yes please give us an opportunity to get rid of the Zen mode or to disable the notification because it is so annoying to actually keep looking at that notification just sitting there I do use then mode from time to time but I don't want to be always constantly reminded that I have to use it for some reason thank you OnePlus team I appreciate your hard work

Ever used the power off button before? It doesn't send you rude notifications nor does it use your data and battery. Did you know that OnePlus phones also have a setting that you can use to turn your phone off at a certain time? That option doesn't waste your data or battery either. Why does Zen Mode use our data? Even when we don't use it What is it sending and to where? Even if a person did have a use for this thing it shouldn't be using anyone's data!

Yes it can be. See the comment above. It's a little tricky the first time you try it but it does remove the darned thing for good. It took a friend and me a hour or so until we finally got it typed in correctly

Now after updating to Android Q /10 we have 2 apps doing this exact same thing. the Google well being app that's been forced onto our phones is basically the same as this Zen Mode is. i guess after ten loyal years of Android use it's time try that fruit loop phone.
