There is an app for everything. And if it's an easy feature to include why did ONEPLUS omitted it from the camera app.

If you really are a "good cameraman" you'll know not to compare a dslr shot to a phone shot and expext the same level of quality and detail

It is an easy feature to add sure but hard to implement perfectly. Btw if it is easy why don't you code it and add yourself?

No worries man! I know that you were talking about f-number and that way you are right. Smaller the number (bigger aperture) the more "bokeh"

Get Afterfocus pro. These kind of software "Depth of field" pictures are always better when edited after. IMO of course.

You're not fooling anyone with your depth of field camera apps :D Get a DSLR and a good lens. I have an F1.8 and it's more than good enough :)

i think the misunderstanding here is that the neo htc/oneplus camera software team didn't feel the necessity of delivering a good bokeh dof mode and focussed on the other parts, in which they did reaaaaaaaally well

1st. To answer your question as to why they did not include that mode. Nobody knows why :) Maybe they did a poll like nfc and people said they don't use it rofl.

2nd. Your opinion about depth of field mode being a useful feature. I would have to disagree. It's a much easier and faster process to take the picture and added blurred affect later IMO. The DoF mode required you to do several things even before taking a picture. On the contrary if you just take the picture then add blurred affect later, you not only save time in the initial picture taking process, you'll also have a normal picture that you can manipulate vs just 1 picture with bokeh affect.
