    Get this working! Been using my nexus 5 instead of OPO since Lollipop source was released and loving it, but wish I could enjoy it on my OPO because its better!

    For Sony Z3 building Lollipop of AOSP source. Fast and Furry. For OPO long time

    Difference is Sony is a Large Corp, more resources etc. I would expect OnePlus to deliver a Stable AOSP rom in the next coming weeks to be honest. That said i can see the guys on here are keen to build also, maybe some of that work will help OnePlus build quicker, who knows.

    @Aaahh
    Do you think you can develop this rom until the 12. Of November?
    You would be faster than Google rolling out lollipop at the nexus 5 and 4 :)

    Do you accept this challenge? ;)

    They won't, don't make your hopes up. OnePlus have a deal with cyanogenmod to use their rom as stock. They won't provide an upgraded alternative before there isn't a stable CM12s or they'll probably run into legal issues.
    Too many people (like basically everyone who have a rooted and unlocked phone) would flash AOSP 5.0 and CyanogenMod would get bad publicity between cupcakes who'd think that AOSP is better. So don't expect any "official" AOSP build for a long time.

    Cheers.

    Gapps are another thing, that's obvious. But I don't think they can do it anyway.
    As far as I know it's the first case in which the phone developer didn't personalize themselves the OS (google edition phones excluded). But we're going ot, if you want to discuss it pm me :)

    I don't think he was referring to the port, maybe referring to OP official release. Could be wrong.
