What model dongle, or what model TV? I'm not sure about the TV, but the dongle was a Samsung EAD-T10.

Ah! Seems it is a problem with me only. My TV is KDL32W670A
I tried playing videos via Wi-Fi Direct and it worked like a charm. But just not able to cast my screen.

    Should I do a factory reset? o_O

    Never said most popular.

Using that logic I am guessing the iPhone is the best phone on the market?

If so why are you on this forum?

Fair, but how many hype do you see Miracast getting? You are right that popular is not always better, but all I hear are *crickets* when it comes to Miracast.

    Agreed.

Having used all the wireless display tech. Chromecast is at the bottom of the list.

Especially when it comes to frames being deopped and range.

But don't get me wrong. Chrome cast is great and useful. I got one too.

Hey! how did you connect your OPO to the LG tv with miracast built-in. I recently bought LG 32 LF6300 which has Miracast built-in. I can cast my dell laptop to the TV easily, but unable to do so with OPO. Surprisingly, casting OPO worked great with another Samsung smart TV.

I didn't do anything special... it just worked! :)

Make sure your TV and OPO have the latest software.
