did the phone get slowed down?

I just did a geekbench test and the contrast to what the values are online for the op3 are pretty supprising. in single core, I got 1034 vs 1682. In multi I got 2840 vs 3943. Now to be fair, I also ran antutu. but the difference on there was only 105382 vs 120873. it's also worth noting, I didn't wait about 15 min before each of these tests and the phone was fairly cool to the touch. I just am really shocked by how much the GPU has been impacted. I've felt like the phone's been getting slower now-a-days but I didn't think it would be this bad. Is anyone else noticing similar?

It is not the phone that is slowing down but I guess the apps are becoming more demanding. Even antutu app used to be different 2 years back and now they have camera scan, qr code scan. So definitely they would be different from now and when compared to 2 years before.
My antutu score 2 years before for my 3T was around 186000 and now around 145000. As long as my phone performance is good I am OK with it.

Exactly that's what I am saying and you proved it [e]1f44d[/e]
Previous versions app doesn't have that much demand to strain soc but now antutu runs everything which was not available in older phones. Hence result differs.
Phone performance might improve with battery change so its advisable to check health of battery.

I don't worry about those scores as long as "real life usage" isn't affected. My over 2 years old 3T is still fast and going good as it was when new.

Your results can differ based on how you construct your tests and the assumptions used.

As technology evolves, OS, apps and even tests are designed to be more demanding on the hardware. So a newer test might make an older hardware look less capable than it is.

Having said that, I have not experienced any "slowdowns" in my usage of the phone. The experience has only gotten better because of the new features introduced in the newer OS.

True. But I am planning to sell it off coz we might get 10k to 11 if we sell now. Later after 6 months it would loose value. Also if we have to change battery then it's not worth to spend around 1700 unless we root and use it for another 2 years.
