Direct TV App issue (Audio but no video)

    Hopefully someone can help. I've had a OnePlus 7 Pro for over 3 months and never had issues with the Direct TV app. Since 10-17-19, I am unable to get a video feed from any channel on the app, all I get is a black screen but can hear the audio clearly. I have contacted Direct TV and Tmobile and both haven't been very helpful. Could it be that a new phone update accidentally caused this issue. I know of at least one other person having the same issue on a One Plus 7 Pro.

    I have seen others reach out to DirecTV and they acknowledged an issue with some of their customers. As recent as 10/24 it was still a problem that had not been resolved. I to am experiencing the same issue not having video but still have audio. There doesn't seem to be any solution for us yet. With another android device, Galaxy Note8, on the Verizon network I get video without any problem.

    I'm having same issue on my OP 7T. I had a 5T that ran the DTV live streaming with no issue. I tried uninstalling the DTV app, changing the 90Hz setting to 60Hz, but nothing worked.

    Looks like they (DTV) have it fixed in the beta. You can sign up to get the beta release in the Play store. Working fine for me on OP7Pro

    Just got my 7 pro specifically to watch Directv on phone. Yep, I can't either. Hope they fix it soon.

    I have just got my 7T Pro McLaren, can't watch DTV App either. This is BS!!! I'M going back to Samsung. Thanks OnePlus!!!

    I absolutely will! Is there an email address I should send it to? I will Google search it online I guess. The squeaky wheel gets the grease, I hope.

    I haven't done it yet, so not sure? I will start investigating too. let us know what address you send it to, and I'll do the same.

    I would encourage every one having this issue to notify both DirecTV and OnePlus.

    I sent it through their website for support. I got a automatic reply from support@oneplus.com. I will keep everyone posted as to any results and progress. If they can't Rectify this simple issue, I have to get rid of this phone. So many disappointments about this phone coming from a Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus. I thought I was moving up in the Android world. Not impressed with the camera on this phone either my S9 plus took much better pictures.
