Show me the way, can't find it!!!
Your only hope is to find an app (probably a paid app) in Play Store.
can't this be solved by oneplus? this is a major security issue.
How is it a "major" security issue...
if my phone is stolen. they can easily turn off the location or mobile data. u can no longer track your phone
So, they can also pull out your SIM and turn off or boot your phone into fastboot
Bingo. People need to realize there is not any fix that will work for a stolen phone
Then what you are saying is that the estimated 2.3 billion android phones that are currently being used in the world have a "major" security flaw... interesting that Google haven't identified this and have rectified it...
perhaps sir you should be working for Google as their chief security advisor.
Or better yet why not remove the option to turn off location and mobile data from the quick settings, i mean the option is there... it aint rocket science... But like other people have mentioned above, maybe you should also super glue your sim card tray so no one can take it out and also remove your power button as well so that no one can turn your phone off... cause those are 2 other ways they can stop you from having your phone tracked when you have either lost it or someone has stolen it.
well. this major flaw is not happening in huawei phones. this means that this is a oneplus issue not google.
technically its not. i like to think of it as more of a user error, rather than a developer error otherwise it would have been patched a long time ago...
"not happening in huawei"
Ah yup, one company doesn't have it enabled but the rest have it and it's automatically OnePlus fault...
Say does huawei phones lock your sim tray and the power button too?
If not then what huawei did is complete waste of time, resources and only makes the device functionality while locked much more limited...
haha chill guys. are u guys working at oneplus? lol. [e]1f602[/e][e]1f602[/e]
Yes, all the forum users are OnePlus employees
We always defend OnePlus as much as we possibly can!
Especially when they pull shady things like "india exclusive features"
for location to be turned off in lock screen, you get to enter a password to apply changes.
