its almost near impossible to get a cracked screen without doing anything and even if it happens, which is rare then your back also cracks so must be a users error.

I think that rather than ripping on this guy, those who have negative comments should keep those thoughts to themselves... Because I have to agree , it's very frustrating when our device breaks, and it's not our fault.

For example, I have a 5T, and I just loved bringing out my phone and showing it off; until the day I was stupid and put too much trust in the flip cover case which Oneplus designed (it says so right on the inside cover). I assumed that a case with a front and back cover, and designed by the manufacturer would have been enough to protect my phone from drops. But no.
The clips which hold the phone in place are faulty. My phone fell out of my pants pocket, but because of the faulty clips, my phone was dislodged from the case, resulting in a cracked screen, which subsequently now is 'bleeding'. Other than refund me the cost of the case, oneplus is digging their heels in and not willing to help. I want a replacement screen which I will do the work myself.... They just have to send it to me, but rather than make a customer happy, they will be losing a customer for life.

Ps. Thanks for the unicorn beetle case

I have Dave issues with Auto rotate. if I have it lying down and pick it up in landscape it does not put it in landscape and sometimes in general. I use a tempered glass protector and I've gotten cracks on my tempered glass without drops or anything. I don't understand it myself.

other than that, I absolutely LOVE my phone and I'm glad I got this instead of the 6t bc I rather have the fingerprint sensor on the back.

Sorry, but placing a sheet of GLASS, that is GLUED DOWN to the plastic/metal FRAME, then placing it in your pocket, where it will be subject to stress, it just plain crazy. Yeah, I see smartphones sticking out of the pockets of many people, and, I shake my head. GLASS by it's very nature DOES NOT BEND. If subject to stress, the stored energy has to go SOMEWHERE.
I know it isn't "stylish" but get a belt clip case for your pants. I've had pretty much every phone going back to the brick...motorola dyna-tac. I've NEVER carried one in my pocket, never used a screen protector and never broken/damaged one because I treat it as an EXPENSIVE piece of consumer electronics, and, keep it in a case when not in use.
Fool me once, shame on you...fool me twice, shame on ME. Your first time was a warning not to carry a phone in your pants, the 2nd time that was on you.

I carry my phone in my pocket ALL the time. case and screen protector. I have not cracked my last three phone screens.
saying my last 3bc I can't remember that long ago.

just saying you don't have to keep it out of your pocket to have your phone safe from damage. you just have to protect it and be as safe as possible.

That must stuck, because I was at an amusement park and on a rollercoaster and phone slipped from my pocket and dropped a good 3 stories down. I came to find the phone with the case off and was in PERFECT condition with a few minor scratches scratches on the back!!
