    Hey everyone,
With so many TV campaigns going around in the forums and on social media, we definitely know that a new OnePlus TV is on its way😎.
But what else do we know about it? - Nothing. OnePlus TVs push the capabilities in hardware and software with their great integration of display technology combined with mind blowing sound quality.

The Q series TVs were the High End range 4K UHD QLED TVs with the best sound quality in the market. And not to mention, the Q1 Pro's sliding sound bar was a really great innovation to remove the need for an external sound system.

(Sliding soundbar in OnePlus Q1 Pro)
Then, the Y series TVs were launched, focusing on the budget range of TVs, pushing display and audio to the maximum capacity within a short budget. The Y series were in two variants, the Full HD 43Y1 and the HD Ready 32Y1 series, both with LED display.

    (OnePlus TV 43Y1 and 32Y1)

Then with the Y series, the OnePlus 55U1 was also launched, bringing great 55 inch viewing experience for a lesser cost. It was also 4K UHD, but with an LED panel. A TV which cut down the bells and whistles to provide a good TV within the 55K range.

Now, with all the contests, CBT recruitments and Product Ninja II, we have been teased with the launch of a new TV, called as OnePlus TV X.
So, looking at the history of nomenclature of OnePlus products, it sounds like a premium TV.
So my question to you all is -
What do you expect from the OnePlus TV X?
    • Will it be finest of all and be a premium TV, or will it be packed with specs for a budget TV?
    • What size do you think it will be available in?
    • And with the TV Design contest going worldwide, can we expect the next OnePlus TV range after X to be launched globally?
In my opinion, I guess that the OnePlus TV X will be an OLED TV with top notch specs and a mind-blowing sound quality, probably entering in the premium range of TVs. I think that being a premium, it will probably be available in 65in and 55in. It will uphold the OnePlus build quality and will have sound-bar like speakers which may or may not be sliding (like the Q1 Pro). And I don't think that TV X will be worldwide, but the TV series after X may make its entry to the global market.

    Thanks for reading!

Thank you @dsmonteiro for reviewing the thread

@Pete has mentioned a 'big screen TV' in his tweet.;)
I think that we'll be seeing more of these 'big screen' hints this month.

Well there is budget series , premium series is there acc to OnePlus's price pov so it's hard to place TV X anywhere for now.... but for a guess! It is a next gen ultra thin Qled 4k 3D tv with some unique software optimizations and innovation..that's for sure

Doesn't by the nomenclature of the existing TVs "X" means a mid range TV between U and Y :p

I am expecting a premium TV under 75-80K

    55"/43"

I hope so... but I doubt that.

Umm...I think that Q series should be considered high end, not premium as premium TVs easily come in 2L-3L 😂
Hehe...I'm not thinking about alphabetical order 🤣

Thanks Helder! I think that TV X will be india only, since the CBT and Product Ninja is India based...but the design competition going global means that worldwide launch is probably being considered🤞🏻
    Definitely!😄
That's the entire TV market currently🙄

Currently market for 32inch is becoming so bore and commons that many people are preferring 43inch and 55inch t.vs at home ! In big cities where house are becoming small. Some people prefer 43inch but the need for big screen around 75 inch is rising for those who have big houses! And those living in flats prefer 65inch t.v at max for better cinema hall like experience! Minimum bezel and camouflage type blending in interior of home like Television are preferred in cities..The OnePlus T.V X I guess is mid range t.v but bigger in resolution !

    I wish✨
I think, It will lie in between these two categories, similar to or below the current "U"
    43" and 55"
Maybe not now, but the possibilities in the future are endless.
    I think the same ✨
