No IP rating, but you can drop it in a bucket of water. The IP rating costs money, but does NOT act as a warranty against water damage. So .. why have it?

Wireless charging is nice for slow charging your phone at night without damaging the USB port. I agree. But its not a deal breaker

MicroSD? Gonna be mad it doesn't have a floppy drive? With 256GB of storage, why complicate matters with a slow *** SD card?

5G? Seriously? Right now you need to be 500 feet from the cell with a clear line of site. Any obstructions and you lose it. Cells are extremely limited right now. 5G will be available, just not now. You want 5G for bragging rights? That's all it's good for right now.

Quad DAC is a gimmick. Its one of many ways to reduce quanitization errors and noise. Most people won't hear the difference and including any external DAC would mean adding another chip. This is more complicated than the price of the chip since the location of the DAC on the board will make more of a difference than if the DAC is averaging 4 outputs (quad DAC) or not.

Headphone jack would be nice, but not a deal breaker for me anymore.

As to your non-descript OPTION you are yelling about, just grow up. Make a useful point or $TF[e]2b06[/e]️

yeah I kinda wish it had a flat screen like the 6t cause I like using tempered glass screen protectors and when I had a s8plus the infinity display was a pain to use with a protector. also like you said the glare and distoriton on the curve is annoying.

op5t and older ones didn't get certified because by default the screen isn't bright enough. Now, the screen is much brighter by default. Also, they got proper DRM stuff fitted in. Older oneplus's have HDR capability, tho.

I hope you can help with this; do you have any clue how to force the op 7 pro to RECORD in hdr10? That would be so great.

i got the phone, but i don't know how to enable it.

there is this thing where the Auto brightness is too high, is there a way to bring it down?? or calibrated it.
even under the sun it doesn't need to be 100%
