get this return if you can see some issue and but same model again. if you are lucky you will get some good unit.

i think update will not solve that issue., May be they do some color change things but this is looks like hardware issue.

Auto dimness is not fixed yet and OnePlus is pushing updates for everything but not commenting on this issue.
I am not saying about any tint issues.
I am saying about auto dimness in almost all google apps and other apps also.
    Auto brightness is also off.
But the screen dims after every 2-3 secs of inactivity!
    Till now no news recieved.
Does anyone have update about this issue?

I am also facing green tinting issues in my display.
I asked Amazon to replace my device but greedy Amazon refused me by telling that they have no stock available for replacement.
They have stock available for new sell but not available for replacement of faulty devices.

    Thanks for creating the thread!

I'm gonna be that guy and mention the colour tinting here. It occurs at low levels of brightness and makes gray tones seem green or purple.

I'm not sure if this can really be fixed with a software patch or if I should try to get a replacement, but seems like multiple users have this problem.

Excited to see a solution as I'm actually quite happy with my oneplus nord otherwise

screen is yellowish rather white in light mode and in youtube colore look totally off like a paint job has been done on videos I have m31 from galaxy which has awesome experience than nord in youtube a lot better colors are accurate . what about our beloved nord fix colors issue as m 31 is just 16k

I think it's a combination of software and hardware.

pro software: after an update users report that the tint issue was gone or occured. I have different tint intensity when using 60hz refresh rate but only on one of two devices.

pro hardware: each of my two devices has a different tint. one of them purple in one corner and green in the opposite one. the green tint is more on the right half of the screen. the other device has a green tint in the upper third.

I hope, OnePlus will give a statement whether it's hardware or software in the near future.

Tint issue is a Behaviour of the AMoled Displace Its Not a Bug . The Thing we can do is Manage the color Color combination of Pink & Green ,

but how can it be fixed by software when each screen has a different area where the purple and green tint occurs? (asking as a software developer who has no idea how to solve this with an algorithm ;-) )

I also thought this, but I think it can be solved by a settings option gives you a lot of options for changing the color correction and many others options. I hope so.

I think it is a hardware defect. I am having tint issue at all levels of brightness.

I am using nord form the past week and I felt that peek brightness when using outdoors is less. I am not sure if it can be increased using OTA updates . Hope OP takes this feedback and fix this
